I am a third-year student from the Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine. I attended Rutgers-New Brunswick, where I majored in biology. After college, I went on to pursue my master’s degree in biomedical sciences at Rowan Graduate School, where I was exposed to osteopathic medicine. This inspired me to pursue medical education at Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine.
I am originally from rural Bangladesh, but grew up in Elizabeth, N.J. Growing up in a low socioeconomic, underserved community inspired my choice to come to TidalHealth. TidalHealth covers the entire Eastern Shore, which allows me the opportunity to work with and give back to the underserved and most vulnerable population.
I am an active person. During my free time, I enjoy exercising, going on hikes, and being out in nature. I also enjoy cooking and working on cars. I love exploring what the Eastern Shore has to offer, and I'm looking forward to what the rest of the year holds.
