I was born in Luton, England, and spent a significant portion of my childhood in Fort Worth, Texas. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in chemistry at Abilene Christian University.
During my college years, I had the opportunity to travel to Guatemala, where I volunteered at a clinic providing free ophthalmologic surgeries for those in need. After graduation, I spent a few years working in the field of ophthalmology, serving as a technician and scribe for a cornea surgeon in Texas. During this time, I gained valuable insights into the challenges faced by individuals in need of ophthalmologic care, especially those in underserved areas. This exposure sparked a commitment to become an ophthalmologist and address the unmet needs of communities lacking access to essential eye care.
To further my education, I pursued a graduate degree in biomedical sciences at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, eventually transitioning into medical school as part of the class of 2025. Throughout my time in medical school, I participated in ophthalmology research focusing on cornea transplant rejection.
Outside of my academic pursuits, I find joy in practicing Jinsoku Jiu-Jitsu, a tradition passed down through generations of senseis in my family. Additionally, I have a keen interest in travel, exploring art and science museums in whichever city I find myself in. I also cherish moments spent with my partner, Bri, and our chocolate Labrador/Pit Bull, Ollie. We are thrilled to join TidalHealth’s medical education program and become active members of the Salisbury community.
