How we calculate ratings?

Our star ratings are based on data collected from verified patient surveys after outpatient visits. Patients provide feedback on important aspects of their care, such as:

• Likelihood to recommend the practitioner.
• Overall rating for the practitioner.
• Practitioner spent enough time.
• Practitioner listened carefully.
• Practitioner gave easy to understand instructions.
• Practitioner knew medical history.

This feedback is carefully reviewed, and star ratings are updated daily using a rolling 12-month data period.

Why don’t all practitioners have ratings? 

Not every practitioner will have a star rating displayed. To ensure accuracy:

• Practitioners must have at least 30 completed surveys within a 12-month period.
• Certain specialties, such as those serving sensitive patient populations, may not have ratings published.
• As more surveys are completed, the number of rated practitioners will continue to grow.

What about comments? 

We value all feedback — positive and negative — and post relevant patient comments alongside star ratings. To protect privacy, personally identifiable information is removed before publishing. Comments that are libelous, profane, or violate privacy are not displayed, but all ratings are shared.
