Current traffic patterns at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional

As part of ongoing construction related to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional’s Observation Unit project, the hospital announces the following upcoming traffic changes:

June 1 to 12
  • West Vine Street will have lane restrictions and a partial closure, allowing one-way traffic only exiting onto Waverly Drive.
  • Patients and visitors traveling to the Emergency Department, Frank B. Hanna Main Entrance and visitor garage from Waverly Drive should follow posted detour signs and use Old West Vine Street.
  • Pedestrian detours will be in place to ensure safe movement around the work zone.
  • Barricades, safety drums and flaggers will guide traffic as needed and enhance safety.
June 12 to July 31
  • West Vine Street between Waverly Drive and Patterson Road/West Locust Road will reopen, allowing two-way traffic.
  • West Vine Street between Patterson Road/West Locust Road and Old West Vine Street will remain closed.
  • A temporary sidewalk closure will be in place, with pedestrian access routed safely around the construction area.

Traffic will be maintained and redirected through clearly marked detours. TidalHealth encourages all drivers and pedestrians to follow posted signage and use caution when traveling near the construction zone. We appreciate your patience as we continue improvements to better serve our community.

Same Day Surgery loop closed June 3 to 4

As part of TidalHealth Peninsula Regional’s Endoscopy Unit project, the hospital’s Same Day Surgery loop off East Vine Street will be closed from June 3 to 4.

During the closure, curbside delivery will not be available for TidalHealth Community Pharmacy and TidalHealth Specialty Pharmacy patients. To receive their prescriptions, patients must park and enter through TidalHealth Peninsula Regional's Frank B. Hanna Main Entrance and proceed to the pharmacy.
